PRCS provides financial assistance to flood-hit families in Rajanpur, Taunsa Sharif

Punjab Red Crescent Society has been actively engaged in providing humanitarian assistance to the flood-affected regions of Rajanpur and Taunsa Sharif during the current financial year.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan Correspondent Sajjad Pervez, Chairman of Punjab Red Crescent Society, Justice, retired, Sheikh Ahmed Farooq said thirty thousand rupees per family have been disbursed among three thousand families in the aforementioned flood-affected areas.

He emphasized the organization's overarching objective of enhancing the lives of the most vulnerable populations through initiatives in health, disaster relief, and the promotion of humanitarian principles.

Justice, retired, Sheikh Ahmed Farooq emphasized the society's continuous support for thalassemia patients and its provision of First Aid training throughout the year. He also underscored the significance of the organization's efforts in facilitating the restoration of family connections for individuals separated from their loved ones abroad due to unforeseen circumstances.

In light of the ongoing humanitarian challenges, Justice, retired, Sheikh Ahmed Farooq called upon the general public and supporters of Pakistan to generously contribute towards assisting those in need, particularly the underprivileged and marginalized communities.
