The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bullish today.

The KSE-100 Index closed today at 72,764.24 points as compared to 71,902.09 points on the last working day with a positive change of 862.15 points.

The total turnover was 578,388,643 as compared to 452,155,229 on the last working day with Pak Elektron having the highest turnover of 48,443,791.

A total of 389 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 258 recorded gains and 108 sustained losses whereas the share price of 23 companies remained unchanged.

Sapphire Textile Mills Ltd. recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 84.42 rupees while Hoechst Pakistan Ltd. recorded the maximum decrease that was 66.13 rupees.
